Pasadena Playhouse District on Thursdays

(download)

Been going downstairs every Thursday night, and this is what I've been seeing for the past 4 weeks. 3 food trucks, 2 small bands in different corners, and 1 big mess of people. Whoever is responsible for this...please don't stop!

I've always had high hopes for the Pasadena Playhouse District. I've been theorizing this humble area would become an up-n-coming cool spot for years...and it seems to be happening thanks to some good eateries that came into the neighborhood. After Urth Cafe moves in around the corner...this place is gonna be a mad house. I love it.

Hey HTC...READ THIS! Find A Better Camera Supplier!

I was thinking about my long abandoned posterous blog and started wondering why I haven't used it in such a long time. As I recall...I loved Posterous! Such an elegant experience. Any user can get up and running in seconds...and it has such cool innovative features. So what happened...why did I stop blogging here?

So going back through my old posts, it occured to me that I mainly used it to post a "picture diary"...and my phone pics helped easily illustrate my blog posts. Therein lies the problem. Back in my Posterous days, I was using my Palm Pre (which by the way...is a decent phone)...which rocked an amazing on board camera. I enjoyed the pics from my Pre and was proud sharing them. Now, in the last 2 years, I've beein sporting the cream of the crop Android phones...the HTC EVO 4G and the HTC EVO 3D...and let me say, the on board camera stinks!!!...literally and figuratively. Yea, yea...here's where pro photographers would chime in and retort, "it's not about the camera...it's about the photographer". Well...theses are probably the same photogs using their iPhone 4's...and taking print quality pics.

Anyways, to conclude my rant. HTC...listen up...stick a better camera on your phones. Your subpar cameras are hurting the Android community, which I love. Your phones are probably the best selling Android phones out there...and platforms like Instagram are not even hopping on board to Android because HTC camera pictures would probably do a disservice to their app. I mean, it's probably ok if some second rate phone company released these subpar cameras on their phones...but HTC, your phones are arguably the flagship phones for Android and you have a responsibility!

Anyways. Posterous...I'm coming back...ugly pics and all.

...btw HTC...I'm open to helping you beta test any phones you might have coming down the pipe ;) ...just throwing it out there.
